Intensive Course

An Intensive Course is a tutoring block run over a school holiday or break, rather than spread thinly across the term. It suits a specific, contained goal, repairing gaps left by a difficult term, getting ahead of a demanding one, or preparing for a fixed exam season, where a concentrated stretch achieves what an hour a week can’t.

Formats

Focus — 8 × 60 minutes — CHF 950 Eight one-hour sessions, eight hours in all, across the block. Well suited to a single, clearly defined goal: shoring up one topic area, or a focused run-up to a single exam.

Depth — 8 × 90 minutes — CHF 1,250 Eight ninety-minute sessions, twelve hours in total, with the extra length in each one giving room to go deeper. The right choice for wider gaps, for getting ahead across a term’s worth of material, or for a full exam-season push.

Custom — from CHF 1,600 For anything a fixed block doesn’t cover: longer or ongoing support, more than one student, or combined goals across subjects and levels. We scope it together and agree the shape and the cost before starting.

What’s included

Every format includes:

• an initial conversation to set a clear, realistic goal for the block
• the sessions across the holiday window, shaped around that goal
• work drawn from the student’s own material and, where it fits, past papers
• a short written summary at the end: where the student stands, and what’s worth keeping up
