Single lessons
Flexible one-off sessions for a specific topic, homework question, or trial lesson.

Single lessons are a straightforward way to get focused help without committing to a package. They work well when you need support with a particular topic, want to try a first session, or have a short-term question that does not require weekly tutoring.
Who this is for
- Students who need occasional help with homework or a specific unit
- Families considering tutoring and wanting a trial session before booking a package
- Students with a one-off test or assignment coming up
- Anyone who prefers flexibility over a fixed weekly slot
Lesson length
60 minutes suits focused topic work, homework support, or a shorter first meeting.
90 minutes is often better when several topics need attention, when exam-style practice is involved, or when the student benefits from a slower pace with more worked examples.
In person or online
In-person lessons take place in the Zurich area — at your home, in a suitable public study space such as a library, or by arrangement at my home.
Online lessons are available across Switzerland, using a shared digital whiteboard and screen sharing for clear explanations and worked examples.
What to bring
Students are welcome to bring school materials, homework, mock exams, topic lists, or recent test papers. Materials are included unless agreed otherwise.
A good fit — and when to consider a package
Single lessons are ideal for targeted support and short-term help. They are less suited to sustained exam preparation or rebuilding foundations over several weeks — a structured package usually gives better continuity for that.
Pricing: from CHF 115 (60 min, online) or CHF 130 (60 min, in person). See the lesson options section for full rates.
I reply to inquiries as soon as possible. Include the student's year group and curriculum so I can prepare a helpful first response.
